LIFE IS A TEST.COM

Life is a test to see if you will believe and obey the Bible. This is stated, over and over, in the Bible in many ways and through many Scriptures.

Ruth Graham has told how she felt strongly about going to Tibet, but God had a higher calling for her. It was to be the wife of Billy Graham. She indicated she believed God was testing her willingness to go, while preparing her for something else.

Our mind is constantly being bombarded with thoughts that are contrary to the Bible and to God’s will. Few people can discern these things correctly.

But even more difficult to discern is when we are tested with what appears to be 2 different things, and both appear to be from God; yet one is right, and one is not.

If we choose the wrong path, spiritual destruction may be ahead. Satan is an expert at putting various temptations in our path. As we yield, we become ensnared. Then Satan blinds our mind, so we do not perceive we are trapped as we are slowly devoured. Satan uses our fears to trap us, because we do not trust God’s Word as we ought. Satan is an expert at knowing how to use your emotions, your hurts, your self-centeredness, your pride, your wanting to be something special, your desire for money, material things or security. Satan knows exactly how to tempt you, because you are lonely and want fellowship or friends—the list is almost endless.

Satan deceived Judas. Little did he expect he would perish.
Satan deceived Demas, who followed Paul for many years, by using his love for this world.
Satan causes the world to hate the Jews, because they are His people and are in His Promised Land. Are you one of them?
Satan, indeed, deceives this whole world; and the world does not know it. Nearly all of the world is following the devil, while they don’t even have a clue that they are being tested.

The Israelites in the wilderness were tested 40 years, and then they continued to be tested when they entered the Promised Land.

Why do people get angry with God? Why do they get angry with their minister? Why are people filled with bitterness, anger, and all sorts of ungodly fruits? Life is a test to see if we will love the brethren, despite all sorts of accusing and troublesome thoughts that consume us and tend to make us not love one another.

Are you passing this test, or failing? Are you one of those very few that think you are filled with the love of God, but when you are angry and under stress, your words of love are anything but love?

REPENT

Mark 1:15-And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Acts 2:38-Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 3:19-Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Acts 17:30-31-And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Acts 26:20-But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Rev 3:19-20-As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Rev 2:22-Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. I will cast…them…into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish.
